Job summary

SCTE, Inc. is seeking a Customer Care Representative to support members, learners, and event participants. You will respond to inquiries by phone, email, and live chat, assist with registrations, and ensure accurate record-keeping across systems.

You will document cases in Salesforce, escalate when needed, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver a consistent service experience. This role is fully remote with standard EST hours.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a call center or customer service role with strong phone and email manners.
• Proficient typing, data entry, and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of customer service best practices and escalation processes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and live chat including AI-assisted chat.
• Manage multiple chats with accuracy, professionalism and empathy.
• Assist with membership activation, training program registrations, and event inquiries.
• Maintain data integrity across SCTE record systems and document cases in Salesforce.
• Escalate issues as needed and coordinate with internal teams.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
