Job summary

McCormick & Company seeks a Customer Business Manager I to drive programs achieving volume, budgets, and strategic goals for Strategic Ecommerce and Amazon/Whole Foods. This remote role requires EST work hours and reports to the Pure Play sales team; you will build customer relationships and guide pricing, promotion, and shelf strategy.

You will collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance, leveraging data tools and analytics to optimize performance and profitability in a US

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of sales, marketing, or related experience, including retail buying and branded food service.
• 2 years of experience managing a customer base.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong negotiation, influencing and leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency in standard business and analytical tools.
• Understanding of how Sales integrates with Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance.
• Analytical mindset and knowledge of consumption data tools (Circana, Nielsen, Vendor Central).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Manage merchandising, assortment, pricing and shelving to drive sales and yearly goals.
• Oversee trade promotion investments and effective use of trade spend.
• Utilize data sources to deliver ecommerce expertise to internal and customer teams.
• Manage direct and broker relationships for aligned marketplace execution.
