Job summary

McCormick & Company is seeking a Customer Business Manager I to drive initiatives with strategic ecommerce partners, including Amazon and Whole Foods, while supporting US Consumer Products operations. This is a remote role requiring EST work hours.

The role emphasizes building customer relationships, optimizing pricing and merchandising, and leveraging data sources to enhance ecommerce performance within the Pure Play sales team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Management, or related field.
• 4+ years in sales, marketing, or related field (retail buying, Revenue Management, Trade Marketing, or Category Management).
• 2 years’ experience managing customer base.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and leadership capabilities.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Understanding of how Sales integrates with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Manage Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing and Shelving principles at accounts to drive sales and reach company and customer yearly goals.
• Oversee trade promotion investments and ensure effective utilization of trade spend.
• Understand various data sources to deliver ecommerce expertise to internal and customer teams.
• Manage direct and broker relationships to ensure alignment and flawless marketplace execution.
