Job summary

AgriSompo North America, part of Sompo International, seeks a Crop Insurance Adjuster to support MPCI, Private Products and Named Peril claims. This remote California role favors candidates in the Fresno area and demands field inspections, loss documentation, and regulatory compliance.

You will build relationships with policyholders and agents, perform fact-finding, train staff, and adapt to diverse crops. Travel up to 50% may be required, with a pay range of $72,384 to $85,000.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience handling crop insurance claims
• 2 years' experience as a crop insurance adjuster
• CAPP certification
• Valid driver's license
• State license
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with the Area Claim Supervisor, policyholders, agents, and other adjusters.
• Record and transmit loss information to determine potential damages per procedures.
• Complete field inspections, read maps and aerial imagery, measure fields and storage bins.
• Explain adjusting procedures and findings to policyholders and agents.
• Perform fact-finding and investigate crop damage, transmit information to determine indemnities.
• Train field claims staff on procedures and compliance.
• Willingness to learn new crops.
