Job summary

Sompo seeks a Senior Crop Insurance Adjuster to support MPCI, Private Products and Named Peril claims. The role is remote in Texas with preference for Temple/Waco and Dallas–Fort Worth, and involves field inspections and evaluations of damages per FCIC guidelines.

Candidates should have 5+ years in crop insurance adjuster roles, hold a CAPP certification, and possess a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 50% and strong communication skills are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in crop insurance adjuster roles.
• 5+ years’ experience handling crop insurance claims.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with supervisors, policyholders and agents.
• Record and transmit loss information per FCIC/NCIS and company procedures.
• Conduct field inspections and read maps and imagery to assess damages.
• Explain adjusting procedures and findings to policyholders and agents.
