Job summary

Pearl is a 100% remote, US-based company seeking an Application Engineer to administer and extend the platforms used by Customer Operations, including the CRM, contact center, and AI agents that support them.

This role sits between operations and technology, configuring integrations and applying practical AI automation to reduce repetitive work while prioritizing reliability and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering a CRM platform (HubSpot preferred; Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar acceptable).
• Hands-on experience administering a contact center or helpdesk platform across voice, chat, and ticketing.
• Familiarity with APIs and how systems connect, including troubleshooting data flow.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure the CRM platform (objects, properties, workflows, permissions, data quality).
• Administer the contact center stack across voice, chat, email, and ticketing; configure routing and SLAs.
• Configure, tune, and maintain AI voice and chat agents; review live sessions and improve performance.
