Job summary

Common Ground USA in the United States seeks a consultant or team to evaluate lessons learned and to develop a unifying crisis management framework across sectors. The role focuses on linking institutions and communities to resilience under pressure.

Responsibilities include updating resources into generalized, transferable guidance and producing 10–15 page documents with accompanying tools and templates, to be validated with CG-USA staff.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Instructional Design: ability to structure content for training materials and SOPs.
• Technical Writing: ability to simplify complex processes in plain language.
• Subject Matter Expertise: experience in peacebuilding or crisis management in the United States.
• Graphic/Document Design capability (may be outsourced).

Responsibilities

• Review lessons learned to generalize crisis management guidance.
• Develop transferables resources and tool templates.
• Collaborate with CG-USA program managers and be supervised by a Senior Specialist.
• Ensure materials are accessible across sectors in crisis contexts.
