Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate Attorney in New York with experience in creditors rights law to join the team. This remote position requires residency in the greater tristate area and the ability to appear in various counties in the downstate NY area.

You will represent financial institutions in court, manage case workflows, draft motions, pleadings, and correspondence, and attend hearings both in-person and virtually while ensuring client requirements and court rules are met.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• 3+ years of evictions experience preferred.
• Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and driven.
• Bonus: multi-state licensure, bankruptcy or collections experience, federal licensure.

Responsibilities

• Represent financial institutions in court proceedings.
• Manage case workflow and ensure compliance with client requirements, laws, and court rules.
• Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Attend court hearings both in-person and virtually.
• Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff.
• Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice.
