Job summary

LOGS Legal Group LLP in New York is seeking an Associate Attorney with creditors’ rights experience to join our remote New York team. The role requires residence in the greater tristate area with the ability to appear in various counties in downstate NY and travel to court appearances.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• 3+ years of experience in default servicing/evictions/collections preferred.
• Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and driven.
• Multi-state licensure or admission to practice in federal/bankruptcy courts a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent financial institutions in related court proceedings
• Manage case workflow and ensure compliance with client requirements, laws, and court rules
• Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence
• Attend court hearings both in-person and virtually
• Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff
• Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice
