Job summary

Figure Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Credit Risk Manager to transform customer insights into winning strategies for HELOC and secured lending portfolios. You will lead risk frameworks, guide execution, and partner with Capital Markets, Product, Engineering, Servicing, and Compliance.

You will refine underwriting strategies with analytics, model portfolio economics, and collaborate on product tests while ensuring regulatory compliance and portfolio health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master's degree with a quantitative background.
• 5+ years in credit risk management or data science within consumer lending.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with solid business judgment.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python/R for data work.

Responsibilities

• Continuously refine and modernize credit underwriting strategies using analytics.
• Analyze historical loan performance data to model credit expansion and segments.
• Perform root-cause analyses on credit losses and sharpen fraud controls.
• Develop valuation models to estimate segment-level economics and yields.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and data science to design A/B tests.
• Track and validate performance for deployed credit and fraud rule changes.
• Design monitoring for new product launches at granular segment level.
• Present underwriting methodology to investors and support due diligence.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
• Conduct ad hoc quantitative analyses to support objectives.
