Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Remote Credentialing Coordinator to support onboarding of healthcare practitioners across a national network. This 100% remote, contract-to-hire role focuses on outbound calls, documentation collection, and maintaining credentialing files in multiple databases, while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You'll interact with providers, offices, and internal teams, manage deadlines, and promote timely credentialing progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, customer service, provider relations or related outbound roles.
• Strong phone presence and ability to make outbound calls daily.
• Ability to influence others through consultative conversations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers through credentialing.
• Conduct outbound calls to obtain documentation and move practitioners through onboarding.
• Explain credentialing importance and encourage engagement throughout the process.
• Track applications, supporting documents, and verification, and maintain practitioner records.
• Perform quality reviews and ensure compliance with standards.
• Communicate with providers, facilities, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Support recredentialing and ongoing record maintenance.
• Handle inbound inquiries with professionalism within phone queues.
