Job summary

BizTek People is seeking an experienced Credentialing Coordinator for our client in Portland, OR. The position is remote for local candidates, with Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and a 4-month assignment starting October 12.

You will manage provider credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging, ensure regulatory and payer requirements, and maintain credentialing records across internal and external systems. Prior credentialing software experience and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years credentialing experience.
• Associate's Degree with 3 years data collection/analysis in complex databases.
• Experience with credentialing or database software systems; regulatory familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Review credentialing and re-credentialing applications to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain credentialing databases, compile and audit provider data.
• Keep current documentation for licenses, DEA, malpractice, and other credentials.
• Monitor expiration dates and coordinate renewals.
• Audit health plan directories and support audits.
• Generate correspondence, reports, and tracking in credentialing systems.
• Perform assignments per guidelines, regulations, and internal policies.
