Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years credentialing experience preferred
• 2 years experience in a medical practice business office role required
• Knowledge of credentialing & provider enrollment processes

Responsibilities

• Initial contact/support to providers with privileging & credentialing process at acceptance of employment
• Initiate provider hospital credentialing for physicians and collaborate with UMass
• Maintain internal provider IDs roster and ensure provider information is accurate
• Complete and provide support for licensure—Professional, DEA, Controlled Substances
• Perform primary source verifications as required by CMS/HRSA/Joint Commission/NCQA
• Facilitate providers in compliance trainings, CME, and Life Support trainings
• Re-credential providers as required for Health Center and UMass
• Create and maintain provider profiles in CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, MassHealth/C3 and CMS databases
