Job summary

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to verify practitioner information for initial appointments, reappointments, and privileges. The role acts as a liaison between hospital administration and medical staff and supports a paperless credentialing workflow.

Remote-based position with responsibilities spanning online, phone, fax, and email research. The candidate should have physician credentialing experience, knowledge of TJC standards, and proficiency with MD-Staff Credentialing

Qualifications

• Must have experience with physician credentialing and privileging.
• CPCS preferred or ability to obtain certification within 3–5 years.
• Knowledge of TJC medical staff standards.
• Experience using MD-Staff credentialing program.
• High School Education or Equivalent required.
• Multi-hospital experience preferred.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Advanced computer skills and ability to adapt to new technology.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Verify practitioner information for initial appointments, reappointments, and privileges.
• Research practitioner data via online, phone, fax, and email.
• Serve as liaison between hospital administration and medical staff for credentialing.
• Promote paperless credentialing processes.
• Maintain knowledge of credentialing standards and MD-Staff system.
