Job summary

CHG Healthcare is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support hospital privileging and credentialing processes for providers assigned to hospital-based opportunities. You will gather verification documents, coordinate with recruiters and clients, and ensure timely completion of credentialing packages.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare staffing environment.

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and web based applications.
2 years work experience in an administrative and/or customer service position.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven time management and prioritization skills.
Ability to meet numerous important deadlines.

Responsibilities

Arrange hospital privileges and credentialing for providers according to client(s) medical staff rules and regulations or bylaws.
Assist clients in collecting documents needed to process credentialing applications and verifications.
Coordinate with recruiters, provider representatives and candidates to obtain required documentation.
Process credentialing to privilege providers at worksites.
Communicate with sales staff on status and outcomes of provider applications.
Provide direct support to Credentialing Manager and other specialists.
