Job summary

Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join our Operations team. The role involves reviewing provider credentialing applications for completeness, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and managing re‑credentialing for physicians and CRNAs.

You will coordinate with multiple stakeholders, meet strict deadlines, and contribute to process improvements. The ideal candidate has at least two years in credentialing, experience with credentialing/enrollment software, and strong

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in provider credentialing.
• Previous experience with provider credentialing/enrollment software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Highly effective communicator with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders.
• Must be able to work well under pressure in a very fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Possess strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and process applications for provider privileges
• Focus on follow‑up, follow‑through and achievement of stringent deadlines
• Review and analyze provider credentialing files for completeness, accuracy, issues, and changes
• Respond to provider inquiries received by letter, phone, or internal departments
• Administer re‑credentialing of physicians and CRNAs
• Comply with HIPAA regulations
• Assist with special projects and process redesign initiatives as requested
