Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Credentialing Specialist I to support credentialing processes for healthcare providers across Parallon. You will perform primary source verification, data entry, and documentation review, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role involves collaborating with the Manager and Director, assisting with migration-related process improvements, and maintaining timely, accurate credentialing records for select hospitals within CPC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Minimum one-year experience preferred in healthcare credentialing.
• NAMSS CPCS certification preferred or a plan to pursue within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, and implementing credentialing processes during migration.
• Perform Primary Source Verification and data entry for healthcare professionals.
• Maintain high quality, timely credentialing while ensuring CPC policy compliance and regulatory standards.
• Liaise with MSO to deliver required information to clients promptly.
• Monitor and follow up on missing items and ensure files are complete for audits.
