Job summary

Parallon, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Credentialing Specialist II to ensure accurate, timely credentialing of medical and allied providers. You will work with hundreds of facilities, applying regulatory guidelines to maintain high credentialing standards and protect patient safety.

Leveraging experience in credentialing, you will review complex documents, escalate issues when needed, and support audits, aiming for seamless provider access across our network.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in healthcare credentialing
• Joint Commission or NCQA knowledge preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines is essential
• Remote employees must live within 60 miles of an HCA hospital

Responsibilities

• Safeguard patient well-being by ensuring verified practitioner credentials.
• Collaborate with 350+ facilities, customers, and stakeholders.
• Review data integrity and compliance to identify credentialing risks.
• Adhere to Joint Commission and CPC standards.
• Manage collection of documentation and follow-up with practitioners.
• Document resolutions and escalations in practitioner files.
