Job summary

Parallon, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Credentialing Specialist I to support credentialing across select hospitals. You will verify primary sources, manage data entry, and review documents, ensuring CPC policy compliance and timely processing.

You will assist in migration activities and collaborate with the Manager/Director on projects. Qualifications include an Associate degree or equivalent, 1+ year credentialing experience, and CPCS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum one-year healthcare credentialing experience; Joint Commission or NCQA preferred.
• NAMSS CPCS certification preferred or plan to pursue within one year.
• Remote employees must live within 60 miles of an HCA hospital; reliable internet required.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of Credentialing Processing Center policies and procedures.
• Perform primary source verification, data entry, and document review.
• Maintain high quality credentialing processes for medical and allied professionals.
• Assist in migration-related process design, quality controls, and audits.
• Liaise with MSO to deliver required information to clients on time.
