Job summary

American Oncology Network is seeking a Credentialing & Provider Enrollment Specialist to manage credentialing applications and keep provider records up to date. The role supports onboarding and network participation across multiple sites in a remote work environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of credentialing experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with credentialing software. Flexible hours and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process initial credentialing, re-credentialing, enrollment, reenrollment, provider updates, and reappointments with commercial payers, government agencies, hospitals, and licensing entities.
• Maintain accurate provider records within credentialing systems, CAQH, payer portals, and related databases.
• Serve as the primary credentialing contact for assigned providers, payers, hospitals, and internal departments.
• Research, investigate, and resolve credentialing, enrollment, provider participation, and demographic discrepancies to minimize delays.
• Generate credentialing status reports, aging reports, productivity metrics, and other operational reports.
• Support organizational financial objectives by ensuring efficient credentialing operations and adherence to budget and purchasing practices.
