Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to process initial and re-credentialing applications for health care practitioners. This remote role supports enrollment with payers, licensing bodies, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities include maintaining provider data in CAQH and payer portals, verifying licenses and certifications, monitoring expirations, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely network participation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years credentialing experience with provider enrollment and recredentialing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process initial credentialing, re-credentialing, enrollment, reenrollment, provider updates, and reappointments with payers, government agencies, hospitals, and licensing entities.
• Maintain accurate provider records within credentialing systems and verify licenses, certifications, and other documentation.
• Serve as primary credentialing contact for providers, payers, hospitals, and internal departments.
• Research, investigate, and resolve credentialing issues to minimize delays and support timely participation.
• Generate credentialing status reports, aging reports, and other operational metrics; support process improvements.
