Job summary

Skilled Wound Care, a national surgical physician group, is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support contracting and credentialing for physicians and health practitioners. This remote role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to coordinate across departments.

You will interact with health plans, complete credentialing applications, track progress, and help evolve licensing functions as the organization grows. Remote position, with eligibility to live in listed states.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ years of credentialing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive communication.
• Credentialing experience with Behavioral Health.
• Credentialing across East Coast states and California.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with health plans including Medicare and Medicaid.
• Complete credentialing applications and contracts.
• Work with physicians to complete required documentation.
• Diligently track progress of credentialing and contracting applications and communicate to leadership regularly.
• Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure business goals are met.
• Help to improve the provider licensing function as it continues to grow.
