You will work independently from home, collaborating with providers and teammates to maintain coding quality and support reimbursement processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Minimum Required).
• 1 year of ICD Coding experience (Medical Practice) (Preferred).
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) from AAPC (Required upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Organizes and prioritizes assigned work to complete coding tasks within set time frames.
• Utilizes ICD-10-CM and CPT classification systems to assign codes, ensuring 90%+ accuracy.
• Maintains positive relationships with healthcare providers and assists in training and mentoring other coders.
