Job summary

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) to join our physician-led network of primary and urgent care providers. The role starts full-time with onsite training in Highlands Ranch, CO, and may transition to remote work for Colorado residents after training.

Candidates must reside in Colorado and have CPC certification, with strong ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS knowledge. Experience with EHR systems is preferred, and adherence to HIPAA is required.

Qualifications

• Current CPC credential from AAPC or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding systems
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation standards
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze clinical documentation to assign accurate medical codes
• Ensure compliance with regulations and payer policies to minimize denials
• Collaborate with providers to clarify documentation and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain coding knowledge through ongoing education and training
• Prepare and submit coded data for billing and reimbursement in a timely manner
