Remote Raven is seeking an experienced bookkeeper in the United States to manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, with a focus on construction job costing and accurate financial reporting. Qualifications

• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
• Advanced QuickBooks Online proficiency: setup, chart of accounts, class tracking, reconciliations, reporting.
• Experience managing full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients.
• Construction bookkeeping and job costing experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate financials.
• Self-directed and organized: meet deadlines and flag issues.
• Strong written communication for client-facing summaries.
• Reliable remote setup with high-speed internet.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete bookkeeping cycle for all assigned clients, from daily transaction entry through month-end close and financial reporting.
• Categorize and reconcile transactions to correct accounts, class, and job or cost center.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations for all accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for each client, including vendor invoicing and client billing support.
• Accrue expenses monthly and post adjusting journal entries as required.
• Maintain job cost tracking for construction clients, coding labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and equipment.
• Support WIP reporting and percentage-of-completion tracking where applicable.
• Assist with progress billing and lien waiver documentation coordination.
• Track subcontractor payments and support 1099 preparation at year-end.
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial statement packages (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and summaries.
• Coordinate with CPAs or tax preparers for quarterly/year-end reporting.
