Job summary

Jobgether is hiring a capable Bookkeeper to support US and Australian clients remotely. You will manage multi-client ledgers, perform multi-currency transactions, and generate financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.

Ideal candidates have CPA credentials or QuickBooks Online certification, strong English, and experience with cross-border accounting. Flexible part- or full-time remote engagements available.

Qualifications

• Relevant accounting experience supporting US and/or Australian clients.
• Experience with US GAAP, IRS processes, or Australian GST/BAS/ATO.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
• Experience handling multi-currency transactions for cross-border work.
• Ability to prepare financial statements and reports for multiple entities.
• Proactive in improving reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong written and spoken English; remote collaboration capable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across client accounts and keep ledgers up to date.
• Operate QuickBooks Online and/or Xero; categorize transactions and reconcile.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and vendor payments.
• Process international payments and multi-currency transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
• Support tax preparation and compliance per US/Australian rules.
• Maintain documentation and ensure accuracy across records.
• Collaborate with distributed teams across time zones.
• Manage multiple client portfolios and meet deadlines.
• Identify process improvements and boost efficiency.
