Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Counsel, Commercial Transactions to support the contracting function for SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, and AI-enabled offerings. You will draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of customer-facing agreements and partner with Sales, Finance, Security, and Compliance to enable growth while managing legal risk.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams, turning ambiguity into clarity, improving processes, and using AI tools to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

JD degree from an accredited law school and license to practice in the United States.
Active bar membership in good standing.
Experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud services, professional services and enterprise agreements.
Experience supporting AI-enabled products and emerging technology issues.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and effective communication.

Responsibilities

Lead customer, procurement, strategic commercial negotiations and technology-related agreements.
Provide timely legal advice and business counsel on commercial issues.
Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure clear expectations and efficient processes.
Suggest process improvements and leverage AI legal tech to increase efficiency.
Support pricing initiatives and governance with finance and operations.
Prioritize contracts and respond to stakeholder questions.
