Job summary

GoFasti is seeking an English-fluent Cost Segregation Project Engineer, based in Latin America and available to work remotely. The role requires engineering background, excellent communication, and the ability to manage complex asset evaluations for clients worldwide.

You will conduct remote property assessments, prepare detailed cost reports, and collaborate with clients and sales teams to ensure accurate, timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum four-year engineering or technical degree is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering construction plans and specifications.
• Must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Experience with cost estimation sources to determine costs is preferred.
• Prior cost segregation, tax consulting, or similar fields are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed cost segregation reports with preliminary research, file review, and engagement confirmations.
• Conduct remote property assessments and review building assets documentation.
• Enter building assets into spreadsheets and draft property descriptions; produce complete reports in Word.
• Coordinate with management to review reports for accuracy and communicate with clients.
• Collect and analyze client property data and perform multi-step remote assessment processes.
• Maintain proactive communication with sales team and clients; resolve issues promptly.
• Tackle project challenges while maintaining high accuracy and detail.
• Participate in staff meetings, technical sessions, and training opportunities.
