Linesight is seeking a Cost Manager to join a globally focused cost management consultancy. You will work with experienced teams, manage pre- and post-contract costs, and ensure clients receive value from projects.

The role supports a remote-first work setup with periodic travel to client sites in Elkton, VA and other locations as needed. You will develop cost estimates and plans, maintain rigorous cost documentation, and participate in tender processes to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects.
• Degree or comparable experience in cost management or construction discipline.
• Thrives in a dynamic environment with ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for short periods to meet clients, partners and team.
• Strong ability to build relationships with team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Support settlement of disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency.
• Resolve commercial, change orders and contract issues quickly and fairly.
• Assist in preparing and agreeing final accounts and claims for best value.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Support cost documentation and timely communication for project decisions.
• Participate in tender/bid processes from documentation to reporting.
• Oversee spend by creating valuations and cost reports and communicating variations.
