Job summary

Coho Construction Management is seeking an experienced Certified Cost Engineer for a remote, part-time on-call role that requires travel and will support cost estimating and analysis activities to evaluate project budgets, change proposals, and cost impacts.

This position is estimated at 200 hours over six months and involves preparing estimates, reviewing cost proposals, and assisting with budget analysis and cost risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience developing/analyzing cost estimates, preferably for large federal programs.
• Certification as a cost engineer by AACE or as a certified professional estimator by ASPE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or review cost estimates and quantity takeoffs.
• Review contractor cost proposals and change orders.
• Support cost tracking and budget analysis.
• Assist with cost risk and escalation assessments.
• Provide cost-related input to project leadership.
