Job summary

Coho Construction Management is seeking an experienced Certified Cost Engineer for a remote, on-call role that supports cost estimating, budgets, and change proposals across federal projects. Travel is required, with approximately 200 hours over six months.

The position demands a Bachelor's in engineering or construction management and at least five years of cost estimating/analysis experience, with a AACE or ASPE certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• The Cost Engineer shall have a minimum of five (5) years in experience in developing/analyzing cost estimates, preferably for large federal programs, and have certification as a cost engineer by the AACE, or as a certified professional estimator by ASPE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or review cost estimates and quantity takeoffs.
• Review contractor cost proposals and change orders.
• Support cost tracking and budget analysis.
• Assist with cost risk and escalation assessments.
• Provide cost-related input to project leadership.
