Job summary

Coho Construction Management is seeking an experienced Certified Cost Engineer for a remote, part-time on-call role that requires travel. You will support cost estimating and analysis to evaluate project budgets, change proposals, and cost impacts.

This is a part-time on-call position with an estimated 200 hours of work within six months. Responsibilities include preparing/reviewing estimates, reviewing proposals and change orders, supporting budget analysis, and providing cost input to project

Qualifications

• Experience developing/analyzing cost estimates for large federal programs.
• Certification as a cost engineer by AACE or as a certified estimator by ASPE is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or review cost estimates and quantity takeoffs.
• Review contractor cost proposals and change orders.
• Support cost tracking and budget analysis.
• Assist with cost risk and escalation assessments.
• Provide cost-related input to project leadership.
