Job summary

KBR offers a Cost Control Analyst role focused on the cost control portion of contract closeout. You will verify allowable costs, review past costs, analyze earned fee versus invoiced, and de-obligate funds while coordinating with Operations, Contracts, Subcontracts, Compliance and Billing.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in project planning and controls and a Bachelor's degree, with remote work flexibility and minimal travel.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in project planning and controls.
• Bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Tracking and overseeing programs' closeout progress within the scope of cost control
• Partnering with Program Control Analysts to finalize close out actions
• Maintaining contract files in accordance with (IAW) contract retention policies and regulations
• Updating any required databases, spreadsheets and systems related to contract closeout actions
• Partnering with shared services AR to processes interim invoices
• Partnering with shared services AP to process subcontractor invoices
• Receiving and processing requests to de-obligate excess funding
