Job summary

KBR is seeking a Business Manager to oversee contract business operations, cost control, and financial reporting. This role can be remote and requires an undergraduate degree with 7+ years in relevant finance and project management.

Responsibilities include cost forecasting, variance analysis, and interfacing with contracting officials; strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Prior managerial experience is a plus and will aid in leading teams across programs.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS requirements, and DOW financial reporting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Past managerial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Forecast, control, and report project costs; develop variances, trending, and expenditure analyses; prepare completion reports.
• Review project costs incurred by category; calculate future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates, and risk analysis.
• Use specialized knowledge to solve complex problems and support global processes and procedures in estimating, risk control, cost control, and scheduling.
• Oversee and execute all contract business operations including interfacing with Contracting Officer, CO Representative, and Resource Analyst.
• Develop and maintain business office processes/procedures, ensuring compliance.
• Administer contracts, manage compliance and interpretation, and develop/report financial products to customers.
• Conduct review and analysis of actual and forecasted costs, approval of forecasting rates, and cost performance analysis.
• Handle cost allocation/account assignment, timesheet auditing/charging guidance, supplemental pay verification, and periodic rate analysis.
• Support annual task order development and pricing activities, prepare and maintain FY program revenue and profit projections, and perform contract margin analysis.
• Approve material procurement requisitions and resolve vendor/invoice/accrual issues, support internal/external audits, and ensure PM/DPM are informed of business-related activities.
