Job summary

Border States is seeking a Cost Analyst to support cost management strategies for open market business. You will analyze cost structures, perform SPA evaluations, and coordinate pricing initiatives across branches with a focus on cost competitiveness.

The role requires SAP MM knowledge, strong data analytics, and excellent communication. Remote work is available; onboarding and collaboration occur across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• No minimum years of prior experience required; relevant experience in procurement, pricing or supply chain is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SAP materials management system and forecasting experience preferred.
• APICS certification or knowledge of MRP and supply-chain concepts preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office and SAP software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cost structures across locations and vendors to identify savings opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing with vendors based on evaluations and market data.
• Prepare cost analyses, SPA rationalization, and tiered pricing strategies.
• Present findings to branch and company stakeholders and implement agreed actions.
• Support cost management initiatives through analytics and market feedback.
