Job summary

Eko Health is seeking a Manager of Cost Accounting & Procure-to-Pay, remote in the US on Pacific hours, to own costing, landed costs, inventory valuation, and end-to-end P2P. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will set costing methodology and defend it to auditors, partner with Supply Chain, Sales Ops, and FP&A.

This hands-on manager role has no direct reports initially; you will oversee offshore transactions and perform higher-level accounting, reconciliations, close, and financial

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cost, inventory, or manufacturing accounting (hardware/medical devices).
• Own landed cost, inventory valuation, and inventory close.
• Own accounts payable operations and AP close.
• Experience supporting external audit testing of inventory valuation under US GAAP.
• Able to defend positions during cross-system reconciliations; advanced Excel; present conclusions to Finance leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA, CMA or equivalent preferred.
• Nice to have: NetSuite, customs/import exposure, 3PL/e-commerce operations, AP automation platforms, SOX.

Responsibilities

• Costing methodology: standard cost setting, cost rolls, variance analysis.
• Landed cost end-to-end: duties, tariffs, freight, brokerage; allocate between inventory and COGS.
• Inventory valuation under US GAAP and reserves; maintain accuracy with external audit in mind.
• Maintain inventory integrity across contract manufacturers, 3PL, and marketplaces.
• Procure-to-pay: PO policy, vendor master governance, three-way match, AP close.
• COGS close and gross margin analytics with FP&A collaboration.
• Design controls for inventory, cost, and P2P cycles to withstand SOX/external audits.
