Qualifications

• Cost accounting experience in inventory-focused environments.
• Proficiency with reconciliations across 3PLs and vendor shipments.
• Experience supporting month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Ability to analyze COGS, margins, and product profitability.
• Familiarity with standard cost reviews and inventory valuation.
• Audit support experience and knowledge of internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost accounting calculations and processes.
• Collaborate to ensure accuracy in inventory balances and COGS.
• Perform standard cost reviews quarterly with Operations.
• Reconcile 3PLs and vendor shipments; analyze goods in transit.
• Support inventory system implementation, testing, and design.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations during close.
• Analyze financial statements and present fluctuations to senior management.
• Report on product costs, margins, and profitability.
• Assist FP&A with financial reports for senior management.
• Identify process improvements for inventory valuation.
• Lead audits and cycle counts; ensure internal controls.
• Perform other duties as required.
