You will lead month‑end/quarter‑end close, perform detailed analyses, review deliverables, and support audits, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls. Fully remote role for a seasoned accounting professional.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 5–6 years of experience in corporate accounting or a comparable financial reporting environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, finished goods valuation, obsolescence, COGS, and reserve calculations.
• Knowledge of GAAP and SOX controls and internal accounting controls.
• Experience with SAP and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage monthly and quarterly reporting for U.S. business units focusing on finished goods inventory, obsolescence, COGS, and reserve models.
• Perform month-end and quarter-end closing procedures, including journal entries and subledger monitoring.
• Analyze inventory balances, valuation adjustments, and reserve calculations for accurate financial records.
• Review accounting tasks and journal entries for accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Conduct variance and flux analyses and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Support internal/external audits with documentation and responses.
