The Columbia Group is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to join remotely with easy access to the DC Metropolitan Area for meetings. The ideal candidate will drive new business, build client relationships, and coordinate meetings while researching potential prospects and responding to client needs.

Required education includes a Bachelor's degree; DoD/Navy exposure is a plus, along with marketing, research, strategic communication, and proposal writing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any field; Marketing or Business preferred.
• Experience with DoD or Navy industry a plus.
• Strong marketing, research, and strategic communication skills.
• Ability to write proposals clearly and professionally.
• Team collaboration and data tracking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Bring in new business and build client relationships.
• Meet potential clients in person when required.
• Communicate clearly with clients and resolve issues.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings; confirm 24 hours prior.
• Research potential prospects using public/private sources.
