Job summary
North is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support a broad range of in-house legal matters spanning product development, data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI. The role works under the GC/AGC and collaborates with all divisions to implement practical legal solutions and scalable compliance programs across our technology platform.
The successful candidate will have a JD from an accredited school, 5+ years in-house or private practice focused on privacy and AI, and proven ability to advise executive
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- 5+ years in-house or private practice with privacy, cybersecurity, product and/or AI law.
- Experience in a fast-moving technology company.
- Strong understanding of consumer financial services laws and the FTC.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on legal counsel across product, privacy, cybersecurity and AI.
- Partner with all divisions to meet objectives in these areas.
- Assist on product development and deployment of AI technologies.
- Advise on privacy, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
- Develop scalable compliance approaches with business teams.
- Analyze evolving AI and data privacy frameworks and advise on risk.
- Ensure policies comply with industry and governmental regulations.
