Job summary

Outside GC seeks an accomplished corporate general counsel to join our nationwide remote team. You will lead corporate and IP matters, partner with business teams, and deliver pragmatic advice for growth-stage and mature companies.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in corporate practice, in-house GC experience, and strong expertise in technology transactions, AI governance, data privacy, and vendor relations. JD required and state bar admission.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in corporate practice, including in-house leadership as GC or senior in-house counsel.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with business teams and align legal strategy with company goals.
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology contracts, data privacy, and AI-related provisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic corporate and IP guidance to clients; manage legal risk and compliance.
• Lead and mentor junior lawyers and coordinate cross-functional teams in technology transactions and governance.
