Job summary

iRhythm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Attorney to join our expanding Legal team. The role provides practical, business-oriented legal support to Commercial, Market Access, Payer Relations, and Sales teams, drafting and negotiating strategic contracts.

You'll advise on healthcare laws, fraud and abuse, compliance, HIPAA, and transparency requirements, partnering with cross-functional teams to balance risk with business objectives in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• JD and license to practice law in at least one state and federal jurisdiction
• 5+ years of commercial agreement experience in health law, medical device, or life sciences
• Knowledge of fraud and abuse laws (Anti-kickback, Stark) and HIPAA/HITECH
• Strong writing, research, and analytical thinking
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, business-oriented legal support to Commercial, Market Access, Payer Relations, and Sales teams
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements
• Advise on healthcare laws, regulations, and transparency requirements
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop practical legal strategies
• Develop and improve contract templates and negotiation playbooks
• Lead or support negotiations for strategic commercial transactions
• Stay current on medical device and life sciences developments
• Advise stakeholders including senior Legal and business leadership
• Conduct legal research and prepare written guidance
