firstPRO, Inc is seeking a fully remote Corporate Controller to lead the corporate accounting function. You will report to the CFO, manage 4 direct reports and 13–14 indirect reports, and drive the close process, consolidation, and ASC 606 revenue recognition for a subscription software business.

The role requires a national public accounting background (Top 8/Big 4), 8+ years of experience, and an active CPA license. Compensation is $215–$250K base plus 20% bonus, equity, and full benefits.

Formación

• National public accounting background (Big4) required.
• 8+ years of experience.
• Experience in Tech or a PE-backed company.
• Active CPA license preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Build and scale the accounting organization with clear roles and accountability.
• Strengthen accounting infrastructure across GL, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report processes.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation.
• Own revenue recognition for subscription software under ASC 606, including multi-element contracts.
• Lead audit management from planning through completion with external auditors.
• Direct technical accounting for consolidation, R&D, software capitalization, and acquisitions.
• Prepare for public-company reporting standards, including SEC-style disclosures and controls.
• Partner with FP&A and leadership to separate accounting and financial planning responsibilities and communicate results clearly to executives.
