Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Communications Specialist on a full‑time contract basis in Los Angeles, CA. You will develop, coordinate, and deliver clear internal and external communications to support objectives and strengthen stakeholder engagement.

The role requires strong writing, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex information into concise messaging across multiple channels. Hybrid work options and collaborative governance will be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field.
• 3+ years in corporate communications or related.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear messaging.
• Experience with digital channels and content development.
• Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and distribute internal and external communications across announcements, newsletters, presentations, reports, and updates.
• Develop communication strategies aligned with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with leadership, marketing, HR, operations, and other departments to identify communication requirements.
• Translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate messages.
• Manage communication calendars, schedules, deadlines, and distribution plans across initiatives.
• Draft executive communications, leadership announcements, employee updates, talking points, and presentations.
• Support internal communication initiatives to improve engagement and organizational alignment.
• Create and maintain communication materials, templates, FAQs, and resources.
• Coordinate communications for initiatives, changes, projects, and events.
• Review and edit materials for accuracy, tone, grammar, and consistency.
• Develop content for digital channels including email, intranet, websites, newsletters, and social media.
• Support campaigns and engagement initiatives; gather information from SMEs to reflect business activities.
• Monitor effectiveness and feedback; track engagement and distribution metrics.
