Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Communications Specialist on a full-time contract basis to develop, coordinate, and deliver clear internal and external communications that support objectives and strengthen stakeholder engagement.

You will collaborate with leadership, marketing, HR, operations, and other departments to translate complex information into concise messaging and manage multi-channel campaigns and content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, English, business administration, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in communications, corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, internal communications, or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional grammar, tone, and detail.
• Experience writing and editing professional communications, reports, presentations, newsletters, announcements, and digital content.
• Knowledge of communication planning, content development, stakeholder engagement, and messaging strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and distribute internal and external communications across announcements, newsletters, presentations, reports, and updates.
• Develop communication strategies and messaging aligned with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with leadership, marketing, HR, operations, and other departments to identify communication requirements and create effective messaging.
• Translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate communications.
• Manage communication calendars, schedules, deadlines, and distribution plans across multiple initiatives.
• Draft executive communications, leadership announcements, employee updates, talking points, and briefing materials.
