Job summary

Ammega is seeking a Conveyor Belting Application Engineer to act as a technical resource across the Americas. You will assist Sales, customers, and product teams with application support, product recommendations, troubleshooting, and design guidance.

This is a field-oriented role with occasional site visits and training responsibilities. Responsibilities include supporting projects, conducting site surveys, trials, retrofits, and competitive conversions.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 1–3+ years in application engineering or industrial manufacturing.
• SolidWorks or CAD software proficiency.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar case-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support across the Conveyor Belting portfolio.
• Assess equipment needs including new layouts and retrofits at customer sites.
• Recommend belting solutions based on requirements and operating conditions.
• Demonstrate how solutions meet customer needs and differentiate from competitors.
• Support customer projects and competitive conversions with field input.
• Participate in site visits, surveys, trials, installations, and on-site troubleshooting.
• Deliver technical presentations and product training to customers and sales teams.
• Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, and global teams to align on solutions.
• Document requests and project activity using established systems.
