Job summary

Ammega is seeking a Conveyor Belting Application Engineer to serve as a technical resource across the Americas. You will collaborate with Sales, customers, Product Management, and Engineering to provide application support, product recommendations, troubleshooting, and conveyor design guidance.

The role is customer-facing and field-oriented, involving site visits, surveys, retrofits, trials, and training with a focus on improving performance and reducing costs.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• 1–3+ years in application engineering or related field (technical sales, product support, conveyor systems).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD; strong MS Office; Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support across the Conveyor Belting portfolio for Sales, Customer Service, distributors, OEMs, and end users.
• Assess equipment needs with customers and engineering for new layouts and retrofits.
• Recommend belting solutions based on application requirements and operating conditions.
• Demonstrate how solutions meet customer needs and differentiate from competitors.
• Support customer projects and competitive conversions through technical review and field support.
• Assist in site visits, trials, installations, and on-site troubleshooting.
