Job summary
Hydro Extrusions North America is seeking a Controls Systems Engineer to lead automation and controls initiatives across ENA facilities. You will drive capital projects from concept to commissioning, maintaining industrial control systems and supporting standardization of automation technologies.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years in industrial automation, and proficiency in Rockwell and Siemens PLCs, with Ignition SCADA experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- 5+ years of Industrial Automation Systems Design experience.
- Ignition Core Certification required.
- Ability to program PLC logic in Rockwell and Siemens systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with ENA plants to identify, develop, and execute automation and controls capital projects.
- Lead machine integration from installation through startup, commissioning and handoff.
- Design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize automated systems and industrial controls.
- Develop and maintain SCADA systems using Ignition.
- Research, evaluate, and implement new manufacturing equipment and control solutions.
- Ensure automation systems operate safely and reliably per standards.
- Improve manufacturing and testing processes to meet quality, productivity, delivery and cost targets.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors and suppliers to resolve technical challenges.
