Job summary
Hydro Extrusions North America is seeking a Controls Systems Engineer to lead automation projects across our North American manufacturing sites. You will design, implement, and support industrial controls and SCADA systems, with a focus on safety, reliability, and performance in a fast-paced extrusion environment.
You will collaborate with plant operations, maintenance, engineering and suppliers to deliver capital projects from concept through commissioning, and you will drive continuous
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Industrial Automation Systems Design.
- Ignition Core Certification.
- Ability to program PLC logic in Rockwell and Siemens systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning.
- Develop and maintain industrial control systems.
- Drive continuous improvement to safety, reliability, quality, productivity and operational performance.
- Collaborate with plant operations, maintenance, engineering and suppliers to execute projects.
- Lead machine integration from installation through startup, commissioning and handoff.
- Design, implement, troubleshoot and optimize automated systems and manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain SCADA systems using Ignition.
