Job summary
Hydro Extrusions North America is seeking a Controls Systems Engineer to drive automation and control initiatives across ENA facilities. You will lead capital projects from concept through commissioning, design and maintain PLC/SCADA systems, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering and suppliers to improve safety, reliability and productivity.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 5+ years in automation, and Ignition Core Certification, with up to 70% domestic travel
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- At least 5 years of Industrial Automation Systems design experience.
- Ignition Core Certification.
- Ability to program PLC logic in Rockwell and Siemens systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with ENA plants to identify, develop, and execute capital projects focused on automation and controls improvements.
- Lead machine integration activities from installation through startup, commissioning, validation, and operational handoff.
- Design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize automated systems, industrial controls, and manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain new and existing SCADA systems using Ignition.
- Research, evaluate, and implement new manufacturing equipment, automation technologies, and control solutions.
